Stretches designed to help dancers improve the range of motion in their hips by loosening up their glutes and muscles that help externally rotate the legs. These areas of the hips and legs are some of the tightest and often overlooked. For my dancers that feel tightness and gripping, are growing a lot, want to improve their extension and activation of their turnout, this is a series of stretches I highly suggest.

The front of our hips is an area where many dancers hold a lot of tension. This class will walk through some of the top stretches I use to help my dancers release the tension in their hips and improve their extensions. You can expect to feel a change in your range of motion and improvements in areas such as the height of your arabesque, depth of your splits, leg height in leaps, back split execution, etc. 

Quad-Focused Stretch Class

As one of the biggest sections of muscles in our bodies, this series is a central focus when it comes to improving our lines and flexibility. We use our quads in a large portion of our movements as dancers, including the extension of our legs, so they often are overworked and hold a lot of tension. Implementing these stretches on a consistent basis will help your muscles recover and dancers train harder.
